How can I use HTML formatting with the recent changes to Gmail?
I was typing up an email to a friend and wanted to use the HTML <del> strikethrough tag.
But it doesn't work. Gmail used to allow you to just insert HTML. Now, it's been "dumbed down".
I will admit that in most aspects the changes have been for the better, for instance the new system of composing mails is really excellent as it does not require navigating out of the view.
But that is irrelevant; what I am asking about now is how can I insert formatting into my email beyond some fixed sizes, colors, bold, italic, and underline?
